ISRT...Bringing the Future of Medical Imaging to You
Welcome
The Indiana Society of Radiologic Technologists, Inc. was organized in 1939 as an affiliate of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. Today the ISRT recognizes approximately 1,000 medical imaging professionals, students, corporate representatives, certified and supporting individuals as members of the Society. The membership represents professionals in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computerized Tomography, and all other imaging modalities.
The purpose of the Indiana Society of Radiologic Technologists is to advance the professions of radiation and imaging disciplines and specialties; to maintain high standards of education; to enhance the quality of patient care; and to further the welfare of radiologic technologists.
Educators are provided a forum to develop their students beyond the classroom.
The ISRT keeps educators up to date on developing technologies and imaging methods as well as offering opportunities to develop leadership skills. The society keeps educators in the Midwest connected.
